Great hotel located in a shopping area next to river and 1/2 hr, great food places, and state highway. Well-appointed and air-conditioned room with good heater.

Great value for money. Large , clean & well-appointed room on ground level. Very friendly hosts. Parking outside room. Easy 15 minutes walk into town centre or 20 minutes along riverfront. Very happy with our 1 night stay.

Gladys and Kelvin, they are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The units are always clean, bright and have all that you need for your stay. Their Guest book is easy to read, informative and when I couldn't find what time the Counties-Manukau game was on, Gladys went and found out. The motel is close to city centre, petrol stations and supermarkets, as well as a range of cafes and restaurants. We will always choose to stay here when visiting Whakatane.

I booked a room with a comfortable bed, a kitchen area and heating. Separate bathroom was immaculately clean.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money. The rooms were well-equipped with all the facilities required, including a great shower with hot and hard pressured water. The staff provided excellent service with a smile, and the manager was very understanding when we had difficulty with our arrival time. The hotel's location was also perfect, close to everything in a pleasant district and just a short distance from the center of town.
